Hot Yoga is practiced in a room heated to body temperature. This warms muscles. The heat increases an individual’s flexibility in the poses. The temperature of the room varies and is typically between 87 °F and 104 °F. This yoga class is a form of moderate exercise. During practice you will experience internal heat and external heat. Therefore, you may sweat a lot. This results in losing water weight. Practicing yoga in a hot environment helps deepen the stretch without causing trauma to the body.
All levels welcome. Please bring a towel and water.
