Teaching and yoga combine two of Laura’s biggest passions. Laura was a special education teacher and coach for 11 years before taking time off to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Peace Yoga in Bel Air, MD. The training deepened her love of yoga and strengthened her own personal practice. Laura first came to the mat 15 years ago to supplement her field hockey practice. Since then, it has helped her to establish a stronger mind-body connection. Laura believes that yoga offers an opportunity for everyone to find joy through movement and more balance in their daily lives. Her training on and off the mat enables her to modify poses so that students may find ease and stability in their practice.
